ABOUT MURCKO
David Murcko is a Boulder, Colorado based photographer specializing in portraiture and fashion. Murcko creates evocative, conceptually driven portraits that honor intimate, truthful moments, revealing the elegance, grace, and humanity of his subjects.
Murcko has recently returned to photography after a hiatus where he earned a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and served as a psychotherapist. Prior experience includes a 15 year career in the advertising industry in the US and Asia working on award winning advertising campaigns and managing brand communications for various clients including Nike, PepsiCo Frito-Lay, and Colgate-Palmolive. After leaving the advertising industry, Murcko attended the International Center of Photography in New York City and has exhibited his work in New York City, Detroit and Toronto.
